Agreements Available for K-12 School District Use

 

The purpose of this page is to summarize for K-12 school districts all agreements for goods and services that are available for district use.  The list can be searched either by Agreement Category or by Keyword.

Each agreement includes the name of the organization that is offering it for use.  Click on the organization name to be taken to their website for additional details.  Unless otherwise indicated, please direct any questions regarding the agreement to the host organization.  Note thate ERAC agreements can be accessed by members only.  

Districts are welcome to contact the BCEM for assistance if they have any questions.

TSMA Lite Telecommunications Hardware and Services (Communications)
The TSMA-Lite is a contract between TELUS and participating School Districts to provide telecommunication hardware and services to the school district group. The initial services provided are the same or substantially similar to the services provided the Provincial Government under the Telecommunication Services Master Agreement. In addition, agreements provides for the expansion to other telecommunication or related services as the needs of the school districts change.
Tumblebooks (Learning Resources)
This online collection of TumbleBooks provides animated, talking books that teach reading skills in a format that students can enjoy. TumbleBooks takes existing picture books and add animation, sound, music and narration, turning it into an electronic picture book for engaging fun and ease of use.
Used Oil Collection (Facilities & District Operations)
This agreement is offered by the BCPPBG which is comprised of approximately sixty six (66) local, regional and municipal government and school board member organizations. Members are situated in one of the six (6) geographic regions made up of the Lower Mainland, Kamloops, Vancouver Island, Prince George,Terrace and Port Hardy. Collectively this group purchases fuel (gas/diesel), lubricants and used oil collection services. Contact the BCEM for information regarding how to access this contract.
Vehicle Fleet Management (Facilities & District Operations)
Vehicle Fleet Management is the administration of motor vehicles such as cars, vans and light trucks. It includes a broad range of services such as vehicle purchase, fuel, insurance and maintenance.
Vehicle Rentals - Daily (Travel)
These vehicle supply arrangements (car rentals) are for short-term rentals (up to 30 days) for the rental of light vehicles within British Columbia. They are restricted to business travel only.

New vehicle purchases such as cars, vans and light trucks.
Vehicles - School Buses (Facilities & District Operations)
The Association of School Transportation Services of B.C. (ASTSBC) is dedicated to the promotion of safe transportation and encourages those associated with it to do likewise. The ASTSBC coordinates an annual vehicle standing offer for school buses that is available for use by all provincial school districts.
Warehousing and Distribution (Facilities & District Operations)
This supply arrangement is provided by the Distribution Centre Victoria branch of the Ministry of Technology, Innovation and Citizens' Services for the provision of warehousing, inventory management and distribution services.
World Book Online Research Tool (Learning Resources)
The World Book is a suite of online research tools that includes encyclopedia articles, primary source collections, educator tools, student activities, pictures, audio, and video, complemented by current periodicals and related Web sites.
